COMMUNITY BUILDING

FORDLAND FWB COMMUNITY BUILDING

OUR VISION FOR THE COMMUNITY BUILDING

Our church is experiencing significant growth, and we have reached maximum capacity in our current building. To accommodate this growth, we are diligently working to prepare the Community Building for our services. Our goal is not only to welcome more people but also to deepen everyone’s faith journey. We want the Community Building to be a warm and inviting space where individuals can genuinely connect and grow spiritually. With this new facility, we have abundant opportunities for growth!

A CALL TO ACTION

The Community Building is 75% complete, and we need funds to complete the remaining 25%.

By donating to the Community Building Fund, you directly contribute to the overall betterment of Fordland and further the ability of the church to spread the love and light of Christ to a community that is desperately in need.

The funds will be allocated towards essential projects, such as the completion of the building, and capabilities that compassionately impact the community, such as:

After School Programs:

This program is important for families facing economic challenges, offering a safe haven for children to learn, grow, eat nutritious meals, and form positive relationships. By instilling Christ-like principles, it encourages a sense of hope, contributing to the overall well-being of both children and their families.

Outreach Events:

Community outreach events are impactful by addressing immediate needs and fostering a sense of unity. We want the Fordland Community to know that we see, we care, and we desire to have a relationship with them. We will provide essential resources, such as food and clothing, directly benefiting residents facing economic hardships. Beyond material support, these events bring the church to the community, connecting individuals to the authentic love of Jesus. By bringing people together, we hope community outreach events will break isolation, reduce stigma, and ultimately, bring people to Christ.

Recovery Programs:

A recovery program will profoundly impact not only an addict’s life but the community. Beyond addressing substance abuse, we desire to introduce them to the loving Father and sustainer of all, Jesus. We will provide a supportive community of believers, instill spiritual guidance, and help them grow in practical life skills. We want this program to foster accountability, helping individuals break free from addiction through counseling, mentorship, and a faith-based foundation. We want the addict to know that they are made for more; they are a child of God. And we desire to be a safe place for them to overcome their addiction and fall in love with Jesus.

Emergency Safe Zone for the Fordland School District:

An emergency safe zone for the Fordland School is vital for a swift, organized response during a crisis. Serving as a refuge, it ensures the safety of students and staff during emergencies, enabling efficient evacuation, and communication with emergency services.

Behold, how good and how pleasing it is when God’s people dwell together in unity! Psalms 133:3
